Hallway Mirror

Introducing the final object in my O-Ring series. A cosmetic size mirror in O-Ring and press stud veg-tan leather frame. Hung with silver plated chain. Handmade, handstitched. Real glass mirror (not acrylic).

It doesn’t have to hang in a hallway, but whilst working on these I was thinking a lot about the in-betweenness of hallway spaces, transitional spaces of display and departure and arrival. I like the idea of these as covert displays of identity and sexuality at a welcome point, and as an semi-erotic looking glass for small details as a person leaves their home.

Measures 125mm by 155mm.
Mirror Diameter is 50mm.
